This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use GNCreators — whether you are a creator or a lead.

2. What We Collect
2.1 Creator Account Data
When you sign up: your Instagram display name, handle, profile picture, and bio — imported via Instagram Login. Your contact email and phone number for account communications. Billing name and address when subscribing to the Pro plan. Payment data is processed by Razorpay and never stored on our servers.
2.2 Usage Data
Pages visited, features used, session duration, clicks, and interactions with your Link-in-Bio, AutoDM rules, and lead capture surfaces. Browser type, operating system, IP address, and approximate location for security and analytics.
2.3 Instagram API Data
When you connect your Instagram account, GNCreators receives and stores via the Meta Graph API: your Instagram user ID, display name, profile picture, bio, and follower count. We also receive webhook events from Instagram for your comments, story replies, and incoming DMs — solely to operate your configured AutoDM rules. We do not use this data for advertising and do not share it with third parties beyond the infrastructure needed to run the platform.
2.4 Lead Data
When visitors submit forms, claim lead magnets, or enter giveaways on your GNCreators pages, we collect the information they provide (name, email, phone, Instagram handle) on your behalf. You are the data controller for this lead data. We are the data processor.
3. Cookies
GNCreators uses cookies for: maintaining your login session, platform analytics (how creators use the product, in aggregate), and security (bot detection). We do not serve third-party advertising cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings — disabling session cookies will prevent login.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
(p) operate and maintain your GNCreators account;
(q) run your AutoDM rules, deliver lead magnets, and operate giveaway funnels;
(r) process payments and manage your subscription;
(s) send transactional communications — receipts, alerts, password resets;
(t) send optional marketing communications, which you can unsubscribe from at any time;
(u) improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics;
(v) comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
(w) Razorpay — for payment processing. Subject to Razorpay’s privacy policy.
(x) Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers — for platform operation.
(y) Analytics tools — for product usage analytics (anonymised and aggregated).
(z) Legal authorities — if required by court order, law, or regulatory obligation.
All processors are contractually required to handle data securely and only for the specified purpose.
6. Your Lead Data
Lead contact data captured through your forms, magnets, and giveaways is your data. We store it to power your Leads inbox and export functions. We do not use your lead contacts for our own marketing. You can export or delete your leads at any time from your GNCreators dashboard. When you delete your account, all lead data is purged within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
Creator account data: Retained while your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion request.
Lead data: Retained until you delete it or delete your account.
Payment records: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance under Indian law.
Analytics logs: Retained up to 24 months in aggregated, anonymised form.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; export your data in machine-readable format; and withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@gncreators.com with the subject line ‘Privacy Request.’ We respond within 30 days.
9. DPDP Act 2023 (India)
GNCreators complies with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. As a data fiduciary, we collect and process your personal data only for the purposes disclosed in this policy and with appropriate consent or lawful basis. 10. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit, encrypted storage for Instagram tokens and payment data, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure. We encourage creators to use strong passwords and keep Instagram permissions current.
11. Children’s Privacy
GNCreators is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at info@gncreators.com immediately.
12. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy when our platform or applicable law changes. Material changes are communicated via in-app notification or email. The ‘Last updated’ date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
